New to Christchurch...

If you happened to pick up the latest edition of Avenues Magazine, which came out with The Press last week, you might have spotted some of my photos of the new architecture that's popping up around Christchurch nowadays..
The ever-changing landscape of the Christchurch CBD is now moving from a "What's left to take down?" to a "Hey, there's an empty space, let's fill it, and quickly.."

It's great to see the Knox Church open again alongside the brand new Duncan Cotterill and Murray & Co Building...
Heading south on Durham street will take you past 131 Cambridge Terrace, and the home of the new Deloitte glass wave...
And if you are looking for something to do for entertainment, head down to Strange's Lane on the corner of Manchester, High and Lichfield Streets, where there is a new hub of bars, restaurants and creatives to feed your curiosity...

So keep your eyes out for the new developments that are underway all around us, soon there will be landmarks again and Heather will be able to make her way around town without ever having to learn the road names...
